Our History
RhythmVision was formed so that people would benefit from musical experiences that explore metaphorical lessons in life through real-time applications. Since the formation of RhythmVision, we have developed and deployed music-based programs for various socially and academically motivated agencies in both public and private sectors. |

The goals of the organization are:
- Provide support and encouragement to people of all ages and backgrounds through musical exploration promoting self-awareness, academic achievement and social wholeness.
- Promote community outreach, collective service and shared learning.
- Provide musical and percussive education to individual members of a community regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, social status, ancestry, national or ethnic origins.
Our society needs alternatives for dealing with academic, health, social, and behavioral concerns. Music can be used metaphorically to reveal new and healthy approaches to living. This is especially true when people are engaged in collaborative, creative endeavors. Community music-making provides an opportunity for people to experience self reflection and interaction within a variety of social contexts. When people are able to control their own actions, center themselves, and stay connected to others, learning flourishes. Intellectual growth and academic excellence are accessed when people feel like what they are doing is worth doing. |
